Gramma Kiki's Visit

We had a visit from Rick's mom, Kiana, and her husband, Tony, this week. They came down on Thursday night and stayed until Saturday afternoon. The kids were so happy to see them. Kayla has recently started calling Kiana, Gramma Kiki. Kiki is the nickname that Rick's family has for Kayla and somehow she linked it to Gramma and it stuck for her. So now she has a Gramma Kiki, Nana Katie, and a Grammy Deb. That's what she calls all her grammas.
Anyway, she had a great time with her grandparents. They took the kids to the park on Friday afternoon. We went to the Milford car show and had dinner Friday night. The cars were so fun to look at, but since it was at the park, Kayla just wanted to play.
Saturday morning we took Gramma and Grampa shooting. They did pretty good. Then that afternoon we went back to the car show. There were more cars this time and Rick had alot of fun looking around. Once again, since it was at the park, I spent most of my time at the playground with Kayla. She lives to slide.
The rain interrupted our fun time, though and we had to go home. The rest of the weekend was pretty quiet. The kids hated to see Gramma and Grampa go home. Rick and I did too...we loved having someone to distract the kids for a while!
