Here's Sammy!

Here's our boy! Samuel Moroni Chavez arrived on March 7, 2011 at 10:55 AM. He weighed in at 8lbs 7oz and measured 21 inches long. That officially makes him our largest baby! He was, however, my easiest delivery. As he did with Ricky, my wonderful husband was able to deliver Sammy with assistance from my doctor. It was such a special experience. Sammy is such a joy to our family. He is a good baby, mostly sleeping still. Just don't interfere with feeding time, then he makes his unhappiness known! He has recently started smiling and trying to coo. His sweet little voice makes my heart smile. He is showing recognition with his big sister as well, he smiles alot at her. She loves to take care of him and hold him. She says he is "so cutie pie" she just wants to eat him up! I love to hear the things she says to him, she is always repeating what she hears from me. When he cries, she pats him and says, "I know, I know, its okay, I'm here." She also likes to tell people that when his diaper is off, he's a shooter. I made an offhand remark about how he is a shooter one day and she hasn't forgotten it. She's such a little Mommy to him.

We are truly blessed with all of our beautiful children!
