Last week, Rick took Kayla to pick some fresh corn. She had so much fun and wants to go back again. She was so sweet to think of Mom at home and brought me 2 sunflowe
rs. I put them in a vase and she has to look at them and smell them everyday. She is so proud of herself for bringing them home, I had to get pictures of her with them, of course. 
So we had 
fresh corn on the cob for dinner the other night. Ricky loves corn on the cob. It was the only thing in the whole meal he would touch. He ate 1 1/2 cobs all by himself. As you can see, he two fists his corn. It's so cute to watch him eat it.

We went to the Beaver County Fair on Saturday to watch my cousin, Bryan, compete in the demolition derby "mini" races. They are smaller cars and they race around in a figure 8 pattern but it is still at heart a demolition derby and they d
o hit each other quite a bit in the race. Kayla loved it. She screamed her little heart out for her cousin. During the actual demolition derby we were showered with clods of dirt from one of the cars spinning out right in front of us. One of them hit me right in the face, and let me tell you, it really hurts! Luckily I had the camera up taking pictures so my eyes didn't get dirt in them. And as for cousin Bryan, he won the first race he competed in but didn't win the next one. We still love him!

s first time going in one and he and Sissy had it all to themselves. He didn't like it at first and wanted to get out. Then he noticed that Sissy was laughing and jumping all over and decided to give it a try. He can't really jump
yet but he sure tries and he started having so much fun that when it was time to get out, Rick had to go in and get him. Kayla got to have a big bouncy slide all to hers
elf for 6 whole turns and was happy as she could be. The bouncy slide combines her two favorite pastimes, bouncing and sliding, so it is like Heaven fo
r her.

All in all, we had a good time at the fair. Rick got to work as a firefighter during the demolition derby and had to dress up in full firefighter gear for each heat. He loved it, even though there were no accidents, dangit! ;)
